Native study — MotiveWave

The GEX map, native on MotiveWave.

The same gamma-exposure structure the Chrome extension draws on TradingView — as a native Java study for the MotiveWave Studies SDK. Walls, flip, the Daily Volatility Zones, the NDX institutional set and a live context panel, with the same clustering and percentile arithmetic as the extension. One subscription, one license key, every platform.

Requires MotiveWave and an active GEX Levels Indicator subscription. The package ships a prebuilt jar — nothing to compile. Already subscribed? Your existing key works.

Everything the extension draws — natively.

No browser, no overlay: a compiled Java study talking directly to the GEX Levels backend. Levels refresh on your schedule, or lock to the session open.

The full level map

Call and Put Walls, Gamma Flip, Vol Trigger, Max Pain, Focus confluence levels, open-interest walls, Zero DEX, and wall extenders ranked from the dense gamma profile.

Volatility structure

The Daily Volatility Zones — expected-move bands frozen at the session open on the server, so every platform draws the identical geometry — plus the unstable corridor between VT/HVL and Gamma Flip, and the Battle Zone with its value clusters.

Two crowds, one chart

The NDX institutional set draws alongside the QQQ-derived retail map. Where they agree the level is stronger; where they split, the gap itself is information.

Live context panel

Regime, Net GEX, spot-vs-flip, ATM IV, hedging pressure, session flow. In Locked mode the map stays frozen while the panel keeps describing the present.

Same arithmetic as the extension

Identical clustering and percentile maths — including the frozen 12-year fear-score table — so a level's rank on MotiveWave is the level's rank everywhere.

Locked at open

Anchor the map to the session open — the identical snapshot the Chrome extension and gex-levels.com/levels serve, so every surface tells the same story.

Questions traders actually ask.

Do I need a separate subscription for MotiveWave?

No. One Indicator subscription covers the Chrome extension on TradingView, the TradingView Pine companion, ATAS, and the native ports. Your existing license key works as-is on MotiveWave.

Do I need to compile anything?

No. The package includes a prebuilt gex-levels-motivewave.jar — drop it in your MotiveWave Extensions folder and restart. The full Java source is included too, and the README covers building it against the free MotiveWave Studies SDK if you ever want to modify it.

Will the levels match my Chrome extension exactly?

Yes — same backend, same computation, same session snapshot in Locked mode. If two surfaces ever disagree, that is a bug we want to hear about.

Windows or macOS?

Either — MotiveWave runs on both, and the study is plain Java. Build once against the SDK and it runs wherever MotiveWave does.

Is this a signal tool?

No. GEX Levels describes option-market structure — where dealer hedging concentrates. It never tells you to buy or sell, and nothing in it is a prediction or advice.

Download & install — about five minutes.

  1. Download the package above and extract it. It contains a prebuilt gex-levels-motivewave.jar — nothing to compile (the full Java source is included too, for those who want it).
  2. Copy gex-levels-motivewave.jar into the MotiveWave Extensions folder of your home directory — on Windows C:\Users\<you>\MotiveWave Extensions\ (create the folder if it does not exist) — then restart MotiveWave.
  3. Add GEX Levels from the Study menu, paste the license key from your dashboard, set your symbol (NQ, ES, QQQ, SPY…) and apply.
The jar is compiled against the official MotiveWave Studies SDK and provided as-is. If anything fails on your setup, open a ticket and we will help.

One map. Every platform.

Subscribe once, draw the same gamma structure on TradingView, ATAS, MotiveWave and the rest — anchored to the same session open everywhere.
