Equity index futures expire on the third Friday of the quarter month, which is a rule. Contracts that stop trading before a delivery month are marked as approximate, because the exact notice day varies and a wrong date is worse than a missing one.

Specifications

Margin is deliberately absent. It is set by the exchange, marked up by your broker, and it moves with volatility. A stale margin number printed as fact is worse than no number at all.
