Conceptual & educational

How GEX Levels reads
market context.

GEX Levels turns options-positioning context into a small set of readable levels and zones. This page explains the idea conceptually. It is educational context — not a signal service, not a profit promise, and not personalized financial advice.

The idea

Context, expressed as a few levels.

Options positioning leaves a footprint on where the market tends to find friction or acceleration. GEX Levels reads that footprint and expresses it as a small, consistent set of reference levels and zones, so a chart can be read without re-deriving the structure each session.

Walls

The Call Wall and Put Wall mark where heavy positioning sits above and below the market — reference levels, not predictions.

Gamma Flip

A transition area where dealer hedging behaviour conceptually changes character. It is shown as context, never as a trigger.

Focus, Clusters & Battle Zone

Secondary Focus levels, Upside/Downside Clusters and a contested Battle Zone add nuance around the primary references.

How it is shown

Read on your own chart.

1

Context is computed

Positioning context is distilled into the level set described above.

2

Levels are drawn

The GEX Levels Indicator overlays those levels and zones inside TradingView.

3

You decide

The levels are reference context. Any decision, sizing and risk is entirely yours.

What it is — and is not

Honest boundaries.

What it is

  • A consistent way to read market-context levels
  • Educational framework taught in the Library
  • A display tool (the Indicator) for your own chart

What it is not

  • Not buy/sell signals or trade calls
  • Not a promise of profit or performance
  • Not personalized financial advice

Want the full framework? It is taught in the Education Library. Want to display the levels? See the Indicator.
